Preview animation of rendre tree in viewport

Preview animation of rendre tree in viewport

One of the possibilities is to use OGL texturing on grids and swap out/blend
the visibility of the objects at the same time as the layers. use the OGL
stuff for interactive viewport playback and the layered object for
rendering. Will work but a bit more work to set up...

In fact, i made a character setup for a simple character.

For simplify the work of animators i use a ? synoptic view ? that  control
blending of different face map  of the character for

 Lipsync and facials expressions.

How can i use the FX tree to see the blending of face map in camera
Viewport ?

 Regards,

 Guillaume.

I dont know the answer to your question but what about using the FxTree
and a few Over nodes for this? That shows up in the viewport live.

 Cheers,

 Axel

 Hello,

I use different map on the same object.

In Render Tree i connect some images on different Layers of Phong node.

Then i animate the "Layer Weight" of each layers to animate apparition of
different images on the object.

But i don't know how preview the map changing in the viewport of XSI.

In the material node i just can choose the map  that i want to view in
viewport via the "Hardware Display", but it's not live update.

Someone can help me to find a solution to preview this change.

 Thanks for your help.

 Guillaume
