 Hmm.  Though this isn't exactly what you wanted... Especially if you are
trying to maintain the integrity of the broke slope.

 I usually find myself using Auto-Slope... ( Shift + A ), to get the curve
averaged out.  Then you can just select the offending keys themselves and break
or unify them individually.   I know it's not what you want, exactly, but It's
an approach I use often.
