Back I must also add that if your not using a domain and your windows workstations are on a workgroup. Be sure that the user that starts the BatchServeClient service will have access to the network share where the scenes are (and that it will have permission to write the output files).

Yes, the command is the same using xsibatch. But the same as in XSI, you must run the software under a certain user and that user needs to have shaders installed correctly. The difference is that BatchServe is calling xsibatch under a user and people forget about setting the workgroup for that user in the logon tab of the batchserveclient service.
