Grounding the Foot

Grounding the Foot

You can animate the effect. The mixer is extremely powerful in this respect
- many of it's features were designed with mocap in mind. Check  out the
manual section 'Modifying Action Clips with Clip Effects'.

Way I'd do this; Create a custom parameter on the clip, add the clip effect
and set it to this + <your parameter> then amimate the parameter.

Yes I know.  You just offset and that's it.  If the offset was animatable it
would be great, but that's not there yet.

Hey ATR,

I did that, it's the rotation of the feet that's creating penetrations to
the ground.  Currently I'm manually fixing it, it'd be much faster to
automate the process.

Kim,

Reposition in the Animation Mixer wouldn't work.  Setting the offsets will
just offset the animation but not the actual rotations of the feet
penetration.
