Bridge opp PPG not working 2005-06-21 - By kim aldis
Back There is a repair option in the install. Might be worth trying that first. One ppg only not working on all versions suggests it can only be something that can affect all versions. The only things I can think of are user settings, system level dlls or something you may have installed to all versions. Removing user settings should fix that latter. Best I can do, sorry.

I deleted all user folders and restarted every version of XSI after that, no luck so far. I'm gonna un/reinstall Advanced to see if this helps. One of those mornings I guess..... rob

Hi all, It's getting weirder, now it's not working in 3.51 either :\ So i do get a PPG for all other operations and commands, just not for the bridge tool...... Is there any software out there that can influence XSI in some way, I did update sorenson squeeze on this machine....... Or do I just reinstall the lot?? cheers,

[kim aldis] if it's happening in both it could be a user prefs thing. Try renaming them, see if that helps. -- -- Original Message -- --

Hi all, Anyone having problems with certain commands and PPG's?? Last week I installed a fresh copy of 4.2 Adv. besides a excisiting 4.2 Foundation. For some reason the bridge tool doesn't open a PPG in Advanced, or better said a blanc one. Selecting the opp in the explorer and doubleclicking it will result in a unstable XSI. Weird thing is that this (now) happens in Foundation as well?? I cannot remember having this in the past. I have someone going through the tutorial material and it is difficult enough already explaining some of XSI's different approaches to 3D :D Any1?? rob wuijster s-5 multimedia holland
