Sometime bump is so complicate to use :-/ I just finished a little script who set the good bump step parameter for you :-) It will not help you with your bump/glossy surface bu maybe it can be usefull ? http://www.vol2nuit.fr/scripting/Jscript/Render/TheGoodBumpStep.js Very practical if your bump map images are big and/or with a lot of repeat.
