Remnar

Certain Apps have some of the tool.can not find all the tools is just one
App. so I use multiple Apps to get the tools.
if all the tools where is a single App that would make production faster.

_Free hand polygon Draw tool.
Remnar - "truespace already has one."
RorrKonn - TS,Silo has this tool.LW,C4D Does not.

_Points,Edges,Polygons,nGones modeling tools.
Remnar - "uh, gotta be more specific cuz truespace has the basics."
RorrKonn - LW does not have Edges.C4D does not support nGons.

_Weld to points together from two separate Meshes.to make a single Mesh.
Remnar - "i thought i plugin somewhere that does this from ckgame factory i

RorrKonn - CK polytools look killer.

Seem to have a weld Edges,Polygons.Don't know about points.but with
Edges,Polygons.Points is not that big of a deal.

_Hide only part of a single Mesh.

RorrKonn - This is really helpful when modeling a complex mesh. example:
Human Ears,Under Arms.

RorrKonn - oh I meant for Modeling. using Deformation tools like Magnets to
move part of a mesh.
example:ya select a few points and move them points closet to the points
selected move alot points farther a way move a little.point real far away
don't move at all.
ah LW,C4D has tools like this.TS Plug Mesh Forge has alot of deform tools
don't think it has a magnet thou.

RorrKonn - C4D is the only App I have seen to get it to work.
but there Boolean is original.ya just don't click Boolean ya half to set the
mesh up in a hexarchy.
Then it Triangulates.the Edges and ya half to go back and fix the Tri's to
quads.
it's all time consuming.Anyways maybe ya can get a idea of how to make it
work from C4D.

_Sweep,Extrude Points,Edges,Polygons,nGones.
Remnar - "truespace can already sweep polygons and ngones. sweeping points
and edges
is not possible with truespace even with a plug-in. Truespace wouldn't
support
the rendering of it. but it might be possible with nurbs."
RorrKonn - I don't use TS Nurbs.take Same Mesh made with Nurbs or Polygons.
Nurbs: 1000's of Triangulated polygons.
Polygons: 100's of Quads polygons.

_Subdivion System that Works just as good with Tri's,Tri's & Quads Mixed
as Quads.

RorrKonn - LW's SubPatch Trys at this,It's not perfect but closest I've
found.
Does no good in any other App thou.
Most App's want to Sub Divide Quads.But to model 100% Quads is a pain.
Seems to me if they made the mesh 100% Tri's after ya modeled it.
and then the Sub dived wanted Tri's would solve the problems.
I think eventually micropoly displacement or something like it will solve
our Sub Divided messed up Triangles problems.

_A Seamless UV system.
Remnar - "Yes the UV system needs more features (like spline UV) and less
memory
requirements"
RorrKonn - BodyPaint 2 has seamless.Don't know how it imports in to other
App's thou.guess it might depend on the App.
zBrush well it's imposable to explain ya just half to see it for ya self.

_Can tweak a human mesh with the IK's attached.

RorrKonn - opps just to be able to model and use the polygon point edit
tools with out unattached the bone.
Think I read the Scott's MS 2 might be able to do this.

_IK system that works with Morphs for the Face,Hands,Poses with Multiple
Anchors and Sliders.
Remnar -"Doesn't Primitive Itch have an advanced plug-in for IK and boning
systems?"
RorrKonn - I don't have Scott's MS Not 100% sure what all it has.
and http://www.pixelfu.com/MotionStudio/ wount load.Don't think it has
Morphs.
Morphs our not nesaserly related to IK's.
Think the best system would have sliders something like
BlackKnight,Posers.Morphs like LW's.

Added some more tools.

_A Fillet Tool that makes a better mesh around angled corners.
_A more dependable Fillet, Chamfer Tool.
_micropoly displacement
_something like a Sub Dived,Quad Dived on a Single Axe's.

I know some tools our asking alot.I am just thinking out loud more or less.
Alot of App's have Learning Versions,Demos.ya can get idea from them to.
