Fillets Anyone?

Fillets Anyone?

I could post it but my web site is a mess. I could email it if that wouldn't
bother you. Since I am at work, I wouldn't be able to post anything till
later on in the evening. If you would like to me to email it to you, let me
know. The file should not be too big. 4k.

Thanks,
John

John, can you post the object or a screen snap shot?

Subject: [TSML] Fillets Anyone?

I seem to be having trouble with the Fillet command. I basically have a
square 2 in x 4 in x .4 in tall with the top scaled down. I have drawn a
line across the top face and brought one edge on the 2 in side down .1
in. Everything is proportional along the 4 in sides. When I try to
fillet the 4 in sides, the left side allows a fillet of .042 or greater.
The right side only allows a fillet of .140 or greater. Also, on the
vertical corners, it seems like a fillet cannot be very small on an
angled corner. This may not be a big problem as I might change the scale
of the object. But it troubles me on why two identical lines do not
apply the fillet equally. I know I can just fillet one side, split and
then mirror the object. But this should work.

Anyone else come across this type of problem?

Thanks,
John
