Can not free memory 2005-06-15 - By Olivier jeannel
Back Hello all,
I'm trying to render a big image for print. It's a 20x30 cm that should be croped to 4x3 later on.
(I was asked to render it 4x3 300 dpi, but it's so large that I don't think Photoshop would be able to open it. So I went for 4x3 72 dpi.) At this size I have a 11338*17006 pixels image (20x30 that will be cropped 4x3) to render (in several passes).
MR crash and says : Can not free Memory... I was wondering if I could tweak some BSP, and if someone could give me some basic settings to save some ram.
Right now, I'm trying to do it direct 4x3 (11338*8525), seems to work, but I'm sure the client will bug me...
Another question will be what size (in pixels) do print-people use when they are asked to make some 4x3 stuff ?
Thanx a lot for any info !
