you are perfectly right. i was evaluating xsi for quite a while till i
found the bottleneck in the rendering pipeline. by no means i say
mental ray is a bad renderer, jsut an expensive one. too expensive for
me to afford to put i on the renderfarm. same with the cumbersome
network render management.
i work with max and brazil and it just suits my needs perfectly. if
there would be brazil for xsi, max would only catch dust in a corner by now.
