Agreed. I was just reporting the news.

But sometimes one renderer can do a better job at one thing than
another. Or can help get a different look.

Maybe I'm wrong into thinking this but, it might also be something that
will interest users of Max to switch to Maya.

Example, they already know how Vray behaves, they know what to expect
and might find it easier to switch on that side. I'm just speculating
here...

Maybe I'm old school but one render engine is just perfect for me !

It is so funny when I saw my friends on maya/max fighting to learn a new
render rengine.

I think there is better things to learn...
