Back it is quite natural rob, when did an empire not have its eye stuck in its own bung hole... although; your email kind of betrays the same attitude with a slight shift...you say "europe and the rest of the world"... admittedly you do include the rest of the world, but prefaced by your own backyard... ... i think that nasa or esa should make it a point of starting collecting wolrd data from say, the seychelles and move outwards concentrically.
honestly, i always wished that usgs output detailed topo data of the rest of the world as well... anywho cheers and thanx for the download i like it
