Chain Simulation?

RBDs in Xsi are currently quite limited but if you work within the
limitations they're pretty reliable and you should be able to get this to
work. The main thing to keep in mind is that actual body collisions don't
work. Try and stick with bounding box. You may also need to apply limits to
the rotational velocities.

Subject: Chain Simulation?

Does anybody had success creating a chain simulation using rigid
body?  I originally thought using multiple ball socket constraints would do
the trick but I get very unstable results. Is this the way to go; any
alternative?

Thanks
