Chain Simulation?

It depends on how close you are to the chain and what you want it to do.

We achieved some nice results using curves extracted from cloth to drive IK
chains, with each link constrained/parented to each bone.

Very laborious I know. ;-(

Let's hope that maybe one day, Softimage will give us RBD's that work.

Subject: Chain Simulation?

Does anybody had success creating a chain simulation using rigid
body?  I originally thought using multiple ball socket constraints would do
the trick but I get very unstable results. Is this the way to go; any
alternative?

Thanks
