Hey Kim! Cool script, thanks! But it doesn't quite do what I want - or I'm
not using it correct?

I wanted to select eg. all the vertical edges on a mesh I modeled as a proxy
shape, for making hair curves. then hit a buton, and it would create the
curves from edge for me (in order).

cheers tho!

It's an ok way for now to go with the cluster solution btw thanks for that
guillaume:-)

... I love this list...

here ya go. Select a bunch of meshes and this will select the silhouttes for
you. There's no need to make the cluster before running extract from edges,
by the way. Just select edges and it'll work from that. Save cleaning up
clusters after.

(jscript, by the way)

Isn't that more work than what he was doing before?

- Put your edges for each curves into clusters (one curve = one cluster).
- Select those clusters.
- Create curve > extract from edges.

XSI will create on curvelist by cluster :-)

Hey all.

Is there a way to extract multiple curves from an object in "one
click", so they get created as separate curves? I want to use them as
hair guides, and it's a bit tedious to extract one curve at a time...

cheers
