Back Thanks Dan, that is just what I was looking for.
Kim, I ned it to flow over a flat plane and then apply that slice of the 3D procedural to my object with a specifiv UV projection so the fractal follows curves. I started animating the spatial support but obviously the procedural flows through the object instead of along the surface, so Dans suggestion fits the bill here. Thanks both for your input!
