Syflex param name editing & goals

Syflex param name editing & goals

Ya this is one of the annoying bugs with Syflex at the moment. That one
and also, when you apply a property the PPG of that property doesn't
pop-up as everything else in XSI does. Annoying.(workaround is to hit
"enter" as soon
as you applied the property/operator.)

Syflex is developped by well, Syflex. I believe every bug we have should
get addressed to them. Perhaps sending them to support@(protected) and
Soft will likely forward it to them.

As for goals...it's also something to be on Syflex's plate not
Softimage.

Subject: Syflex param name editing & goals

Part rant, part query.

With regards to syflex, is there a way to rename properties without
having
to adjust the spdl etc? For instance, if i have 8 collision objects on a

sfylex mesh, all i get is collision[1] , collision[2] etc, which isnt a
good
situation when having multiple people working with it, let alone problem

solving.
Currently, just to make it usable i am having to document all my
property
pages in a txt file just to keep track of what each property is relating
to.
Not a good productive solution.

Also, whilst i am in a bad mood and on a ranting misson, can we expect
to
see built in goal object forces any time soon, this is something every
single dynamics force in xsi is redundant off without a C++ programmers
support.

Cheers.
Mike
