Back hi all, i dont have reference models, no group override, no animating visibilty, but yes i do have a displacement map. i found a "workaround" that works in everycase to make the object reappear : i select the objects, quickly press 2-3 times "minus" to have no subdivision and OH! object renders fine, then subdivide again... paintaking and the object is basically small. luckily i'm soon finished with this project. o
