Cannot Stop Playback 2005-05-25 - By Brad Friedman
Back Yes most likely. I've tried evangelizing this problem with poor results.
You'll also find that if you do interactive shading (render region) and then try to pull sliders in your shaders and watch it update... the response on the UI for the shaders will be very slow and sticky compared to the mouse. You may have to wait for the region to finish a render pass before adjusting some atrributes. So as a general rule, I do not tweak shaders with a tablet.
I've tried different driver versions. No luck.
I've tried different tablets (graphire, intuose 2, intuose 3, wacom manufactured tablet pc display, generic non wacom tablet from compusa). No luck.
I've tried contacting Wacom. They say its Soft's problem. No luck.
Soft has not addressed the problem in 4.2 (it was a problem in 3.5 and 4.0). No luck.
I've resigned myself to getting carpal tunnel syndrome :)
