installing BatchServ 2005-05-24 - By Andy Jones
Back The best advice I can give you is to hire someone who knows all the relevant web server technologies: mysql, php, apache, and VBScript, if you don't know them yourself, and let that person help you install BatchServe. No matter how closely you follow the directions, you're likely to have some little permission error or incorrect configuration line here or there that they'll be able to diagnose relatively easily. Batchserve is really a pretty run-of-the-mill web application, so anyone with experience developing those should be able to make it work without too much trouble, even if you mess up and install the wrong version of something.
Whether you end up hiring such a person or not, post the problems you run into on the list and maybe we can help talk you through them.
