Changing Defaults 2005-05-23 - By kim aldis
Back Apart from the obvious preset solution or duplicating passes, no, not that I've found anyway.
Funny, I was just thinking about cascading, overriding renderoption parameters the other day. When probably at least your output resolution is going to be the same right through all your passes it makes a lot of sense.

OK this should be an easy one.
I rarely render .pic anymore, opting for .sgi since it's faster to load into Flame. How do I set the default render format to .sgi? I would also like to do the same for the resolution and frame rate.
It's a shame that when you make a new pass it doesn't look at the previous passes settings. I've had several occasions where I am rushing to get out some new elements and I forget to change one of those settings. Seems to me that it should be set once and cascade down for every new pass isntead of using the default. Just my opinion. :)
