4/3 crop box on a 16/9 cam ? 2005-05-17 - By Fabrice Altman
Back Hello,
Jordi , nice but then you have 2 captures. We want to be able to see the the 16/9 version and 4/3 at same time. That's why I'm trying to find a quick and easy way of having a semi-transparant mask over the 16/9 parts.
Andre, cool but what is the magic expression that locks the curves size to the cam FOV, if you don't mind sharing ... ?
Cheers guys, F.

We wrote a script that creates geometry field guides from curves. So we have field guides which show 16:9 and 4:3.

A quick solution that I'm thinking is duplicate your camera, constrain it your second camera and interest to your first camera, change the properties of this second camera, Format, field of view bla bla..., open it in a new view and capture it.
Jordi.
