Back You started it Bernard... and because I have nothing better to do - here goes: *ALL* the Softimage search, docs, SDK docs Local/Remote/netview suck TERRIBLY.
AND, they are dog slow. AND, has anyone succeeded in getting firefox.exe working by changing it in SetEnv.bat?
Maya's localhost implementation of it's docs since v6.0 may be a little more complex to setup, but damn it works.

That really flips me out: since XSI 4, I just can't find *anything* in Net View. I searched "icons" and did not get to the emdl. Even XSI Base's search engine is better. Wtf?

Perhaps I should start using google to search the Net View.
