I see two solutions :
1 : Move the other side points in the texture editor, should'nt be very
complicate.
2 : Use an incidence node drived by your planar proj. to mask the other
side.
Parent an inactive light to your texture support to drive the incidence ( I
think you can use directly the texture support but it's not very easy).
