Great thanks Andre - will do, as this is for just that - need to have a crowd
of these funny envelope (yeah as in the lick, stamp and send by post),
characters with feet and arms running around in a street scene!  So may just be
emailing you as I get on with it!!

 I used MB for that very same purpose.  We ended up writing some scripts to
import large numbers of FBX files into XSI, and plot to a Behavior friendly rig
.
