Gradient Question

Gradient Question

Hi All, I am still a newbie to XSI so my question might be a little
basic... I have a piece of geometry that I would like to procedure
texture with a gradient. I have gone into the render tree where I
plugged a gradient texture into my material. I got a gradient that was
applied to my geometry, the problem is that I do not have good control
over the gradient. Let's say the object is a cube, the gradient
transition would be at the very bottom of the cube. I would like it to
be in the middle. I inspected the gradient texture to see if there
were any options to control it more, but there were very few
(horizontal, vertical, diagonal, and colors, etc.) Any information on
what I am need to do would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in
advance!
