trueSpace is in 3D World Mag Iss49 2004-02-19 - By Rick Bolman
Back Oddly enough, the name came from the town he lived in; Boring Maryland.
Town names like that make for some interesting conversation. For example, from personal experience:
Them: "Where do you live?" Me: "I live in Defiance." (the town name is Defiance) Them: "Oh? In defiance of what?" Me: "Ha ha ha, shut up moron..."
Well, not that the above conversation has ever taken place, but it could...someday......
Unless, of course, I happen to move to Hell, Michigan.

I find this site to be both funny and interesting. Not sure where the name Boring3d came from. It is an interesting concept as well. To be able to produce a render a day, if indeed the renders were produced on a day-to-day basis, is quite an achievement. It kind of has a Far Side theme going, in an odd sort of way. For some reason, I remember seeing The Reverend in the banana scene somewhere in 3D World magazine some time ago. Not sure which issue though. Anyway thanks for the link.
BTW, what is the deal with the naked miner and the box man? Strange indeed.
