Internal vs External Models 2005-05-10 - By Andre DeAngelis
Back Hi Adam,
Ideally, what I thought this switch did, and what would love to see, is a scene save option that not only saves the scene, but exports the models in a scene to the local models directory - something like we had in Soft 3D. It would be a very handy option to overcome corrupted scenes that's for sure.

if you export any model, it will be considered external and behave as if you had made the switch in the ppg... The button is sort of redundant as you need to save the model to an external file anyways..

unless I misunderstand your thoughts Andre..
What would having the ability to switch the model state from the ppg do for you that exporting currently doesn't? I guess it would make the process of exporting the model a lot faster...
