It depends on what OS you decide to go for - if you are doing big renders
using lots of RAM and want to avoid at all costs the RAM limitations of
WinXP, then go for Linux - this will decide your choice of Farm Management
Software, as Batchserve is for now only available on WinXP - if you decide
Linux, then Royal Render looks very good, and will also run AFX, Maya etc
etc.... it is not expensive either.  batchserve is cool if you decide winXP
and don't want to spend money, as you get it with Advanced, maybe ofther
variants as well.
