hair dynamics 2005-05-09 - By Oz Adi
Back Hi Graham,
can a hair cluster be a collision object for another hair cluster?
I've tried using a grid or box collider in those areas to squash the fur.. it wasnt giving me satisfying results. what I am trying now, is to use Reinhard Claus'es Tension map, to control the root-tip center transperancy, so as the edges on the back of the knee get tensioned, the hair will get shorter in this area, to reduce the overlapping..
I am still fighting the render tree to do so :).. so if anyone can help.. for some reason I cant make it work.. we are using the hair-geo shader..
cheers, Oz.
