Guy Rabiller and 2d Lighting

I just linked parameters, ( PixelParser variables A,B,.. ) to some
CustomProperty I created under the Light.
Very basic. There is a limited number of variables, from the user pov, and
from the dev pov, you dont have any way to have persistent connection at
all, unless, again you use dirty tricks. It works from the 3D scene however,
when you move the Light in the scene the FXTree render is updated in (
near ) realtime.

There is so much potential in 3D / 2D 'connexions'. Too bad we cant go very
far in the current state of the application, despite the fact that this was
one of the main gimmick from Softimage few years ago ( with DS, and Sumatra
design.. ). Its seems this has been completly forgotten.

The only application I know ( may be there are some others ? ) wich allows
very powerfull ( and integrated ) things on this matter is Houdini.
( It has 2D Lighting as a standard feature with total 'connexion' freedom
with 3D )

Cheers,
