sketch particles 2005-05-05 - By matt hollingsworth
Back Hey Kim,
Makes sense. I was getting used to Maya's turbulence, then realized that XSI's is just wind with eddys. But, would like to set the intial state, create a cloud from that initial state that does NOT transfer the velocity from my sketch, then have any and all forces work on it. It's a cool tool, but if I can't use all the goodies without having my sketch speed transferred, that ain't gonna do me a lot of good on what I'm working onat the moment. Probably will for other things, jsut not this particular thing. I tried various ways of getting a cloud out of there with a neautrel initial state but had no luck. Any ideas?
thansk Kim. Your stuff online, particularly your noise videos, helped me a lot a while back and I appreciate it.
cheers,
-M
