I completely agree with Eric, a REAL art school with solid art history
plus FINE ART classes is really important. The city proximity can be
an issue for some too but perhaps only near end of school when
internships are needed.
If this question is relative to XSI EDU as it should be for this list
you are asking on, then that really changes things as XSI is taught at
very few of the good degree awarding fine art schools.
Also some schools may list XSI on the schools site, and Softimage may
list them as an academic partner but in some cases it is NOT actually
covered in classes there. You have to really ask the school if XSI is
covered and ask the name of the professor teaching it and when it is
taught to get the facts.
