Syflex Simulation

Syflex Simulation

It was a bit nasty, basicly i had to read back the frame cache from
the previous file, and dump out the current one. I expected something
more straightforward. First the script was just playing through the
framerange (skipping syflex), and for some reason, the exact same
script evaluated correctly if opened up in maya -command <commandname>
instead of maya -batch -command <commandname>.
But I also had problem with syflex not running when bringing the
interactive maya session to the background (just skipping through the
frames), but as far as i remember, this works in xsi?
What if you tried rendering out the frames instead in cheap rez, and
thus writing the cache meanwhile? I don't really remember xsi, but in
maya, if you just press play, it caches the frames, same goes to
rendering.
