Back You would be better served to go to school in a part of the country/world that has a diverse 3D production community, and a school with a solid history in Art, Design and Film. At least in the US, it's mostly LA and NYC.
Later, you'll have access to companies for internships and jobs, as well as professors that do it full-time and teach are more common.
