What are the exact connections of your scripted op?
In which construction mode did you apply your operator?
If you want to see your effect appear in the shape that will eventually be
blended by the mixer and outputed by the shape combiner you need to be
connected in modeling region.
Did you try to run CycleChecking to see if there's any cyclical dependency on
your operator?

(sorry if it's the second one, but the first was lost)
right now I'm trying to get a sco working on a shopekey, but xsi
refueses to update, there is now error or anything it simply won't call
the update routine for the output.
I added a output to the cluster shape combiner, but now it only updates
once (for this port) but not the one on the shapekey. Is this a
limitation of xsi or do I miss a important thing.
Maybe all the input shape keys are dead for xsi and cause of this it
does not see any need to update. Does anybody know something about this
issue?
