This all is becoming very OT.

its not because an image looks like another one that it belongs to the same
style.

styles are used in art history to describe certain common feats between artists
and works, to help classify them.
These can be historical, cultural, techniques being used, composition, subjects
that are portrayed,...

Allthough not an exact science, Art History is a science, and using its terms
out of context doesnt make much sense.

You could say that meats meiers art is somewhere resemblant to that of giger,
and giger's art has resemblences to surrealism.
That doesnt make either giger or meats meier surrealists, while Dali, Redon,
Magritte, ... are.

You cant come up with say a matte painting and label it Renaissance, or
Preraphaelite either.
Just as any image that looks like manga doesnt automatically become manga.

lets end this discussion shall we?

 So something like this:

 http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/posters.html  (the wire head)

would also be an example of surrealism?

 Luke

Giger's problem is that he is still alive, hopefully people will accept him
as a surrealist with a unique style after his death...like Dali.

back to xsi...when can we get our hands on the xsi 64bit version ?
