A good article on "What is the best renderer? "

I usually visit this site (Zaon Digital) for artistic inspiration, but this
time I found an interesting article on "Choosing the Best 3D Rendering
Applications for your Needs".   A neat table is included which rates the
particular functions of each of the major professional rendering
applications.  The article can be found here:

http://www.zaon.com/company/articles/3d_rendering.php

There are some comments in there that criticize statements people make when
defending what they think is the best 3D application that are priceless.
He really hits on some statements that we have all heard before on this
forum with some neat insight on why people say them.

TrueSpace also gets a mention....which is odd considering that the article
is clearly aimed at the high-end professional packages.  The writer clearly
considers tS as a mid-range application and is the only application
mentioned other than the "Big 6" (3DS, LW, Alias, Softimage, Houdini and
Cinema4D).  Again, pretty good company to be keeping.

Thanks,
