Dave,

Save your work in other directories other than truespace66.  Then unistall.
delete all the subdirectories,  but save your conversion packs and spervice
packs
iand move them to another directory.

Reinstall Truespace in the truespace66 directory.  then install your service
packs first
Then your conversion packs.

I hope this helps.  I got an error message too and this is what I did.
