Luke,
HR Giger has been creating his art since the 50's at least (if I
recollect correctly), and is responsible for legions of copycats. So, in
my narrow estimation, HR Giger's 'style' is unique to him, but you will
see a lot of art inspired by him. I've never heard any label attributed
to his work, other than "sick", "degraded", etc. (I'm being funny here).
Good stuff nonetheless. I have a couple of his books, very inspiring
stuff...
