Back my thoughts on this..
on ano0ther laptop in my house... my wife ended up with somewhere near 170 invasive processes or the like running on her machine... i have NEVER had any success removing all of them..
this time..though.. i ran spybot (latest version) and adaware.. one first.. then the other...
i let adaware relaunch on bootup.... and reclean...
it took about 2 hours.. .but.. i swear.. it got every single rogue process... i was thoroughly amazed...
but... i feel i had torrun both spybot and adaware to have success. i don't think either one would'vre worked alone..
