Boujou often is the friendliest and quickest, 3DE can be a major pain in the
arse to get a shot out but it will chew on everything you throw at it with
enough work, while boujou, if it doesn't like a shot, will let you down.
Syntheyes is the best of both worlds in one app ;)
Our lead tracking guy here replaced boujou+3DE with it and hasn't had second
thoughts about it yet.

Hello list,
I'm looking after some 3d trackers.
I tried Voodoo (freeware), but with no real success. It is rather slow, and
not very accurate, plus I had some slight differences between the tracking
itself and the .xsi export. ( I thought it might be because of some
Pixel/cam ratio, but couldn't find a descent solution)
I also downloaded the SynthEyes demo, and was pretty pleased. It's fast, and
i believe accurate. I only had on glitch I couldn't get rid off.
Unfortunatly as a demo version, the exporters are locked. Too bad, I would
have wished to test if it works ok...
So I wanted to hear some feedback about people working with 3D trackers (any
tracker).
Which one do you recommend ?
Is the transfer with XSI ok ?
I think I'll go for the Syntheyes, but any feedback apreciated !
