NAB 2005 - a bit disappointed 2005-04-21 - By Luc-Eric Rousseau
Back yeah, .. it looks like the applications are getting old and the big HD push is pretty much over (after several years of false starts). Also smaller companies have been aquired or gone bankrupt. Expect the same thing at siggraph. With regards to SymphonyNitris or Toxik there is no way it can get the same amount of web/magazine buzz, since they're unaffordable to prosumers. These things are sold by handshakes rather than press releases and buzz.
