Anyone on the list been to the show?  Surely there must be comethign
worth mentioning.

I went, but admittedly (as video editor) my purposes were more about
video and cameras than 3D. I did stop by the Avid booth to learn a few
tips tricks about XSI. This is my first year back to NAB after a 5-year
gap, and I had to shed a tear for the lack of emphasis on Softimage. 5
years ago, Softimage had a complete theatrical style booth with exciting
demos. This year, Mark Schoenagel was given a single pod in the Avid
booth. What's this world coming to!!

It was nice to see Mark again though.
