There's a volume scaling mode.
When you press the x supra key for scaling, there's a Vol button located
under the Uni button in the transform PPG.

anybody has a idea how to make a object squash and stretch, like with the
maya squash deformer, or with max squash scale mode?
i can only find the quickstretch deformer in xsi but that is not helpful at
all if you want to keyframe the squash by yourself
