there is a point to patents and that is to feed those with bright
ideas; but as with any regulation there is always a posibility that
this gets abused. And being there so much money in patents, these
often do get abused legally. The inventor of television, if i remember
correctly, died in misery. I would argue that patent law should be
revised but how to do that when the power to do so is held by those
who trade in patents and not those who actually create them? Funny
world, huh. Just remember, without injustice humanity would probably
not exist.
As to metaballs, that someone could patent that, baffles me. Its
pretty simple math.
