Well... I don't know if that actually the reason, I was reading somebody
saying Chinny said that much, but I remember clearly ONE thing:
Last time I asked Chinny about metaballs the answer was a clear
"mwaaahhhhgghhh *THUD*"
But then again... it had been a long tequila night.

No offense intended, but I'm confused. How did this
go from a thread about everyone wanting metaballs, to,
"Let's guess some other reasons Soft is not putting it
in there"??
I thought the reason was stated loud and clear,
because they felt they wouldn't sell more seats, and
that it wasn't deemed as a desirable feature - which
by looking at this thread, is not even close to being
the case.
Like Chinny said, this is business. So just as Soft
makes business decisions on adding features, I don't
take it any more personally then they should looking
at this thread.
We get critiqued all the time, and sometimes it's not
pleasant, but let's face facts, a lot of the time our
work is better as a result... For the same reasons, so
is XSI.
