New to Linux Suse 9.1 or Redhat 9? 2005-04-13 - By Alan Jones
Back Yeah - I haven't had to plug this in for anything except the hard-drive dying recently (with the already dead dvd drive) for over 6 months.
There are new baselayout scripts which also make configuration pretty simple. Just had to emerge madwifi, add some modules to autoload and put in my security key for the network.
Rick's much more hardcore than me - using win32 drivers. Speaking of windows a project which may become worth looking at in the future - not there for prod use yet http://www.reactos.com It's a windows compatible OS - they've already got the basics up and running.
Cheers,
Alan.
