Back It's really tough to do without seeing what you have - do you have any constraints setup? Do you have 'affected by scaling' checked on in their PPGs?
If you're scaling the model node - I wouldn't suggest it. Here is a quick representation of the top nulls for my normal rig setup: All the meshes live in a flat hierachy under the 'meshes' null. I never parent geometry into a rig. If you prefer you can also put them directly under the ScalingFactor - if the setup is good it all works.

Hello, I seem to have problems replying on here so I'm going to try again. I just wanted to comment that I didn't have VOLume on and that UNIform was on. And I used the scale funtion of "X" to scale the model yet with chains in the model and other objects I still get distortion.
