None taken Gene, but I'll pass on using your machine - the monitor
must be a mess given the docs are electronic.

Perhaps I did make it sound a little too simple - you definitely need
to know what parts are in your machine (unless you just compile
everything into the kernel). I was more talking about once it's
running it's easy. Though I didn't have too many hassles even with
wireless networking, the system running from an external usb2 lacie
only using the internal hdd to load the kernel.

It's definitely not fire and forget guys - sorry if I made it seem too easy.
